Brooker, Martens & Associates (formerly Brooker & Company) is a local certified public accounting firm located in Jefferson, IA.
We provide a variety of tax and accounting services including tax preparation, tax planning, payroll, bookkeeping, business consulting, Quickbooks support and 1099 preparation. We strive to offer the highest quality of service and ensure each client's needs are met.
Ross Martens joined the company in January of 2023 and took on an ownership role to move the company forward. He started his career in public accounting at BKD in West Des Moines, Iowa in 2018. He served clients in several different industries including real estate, telecommunication, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation and more. His experience at BKD included corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and preparation. He grew up on a farm in western Iowa and has extensive knowledge in the agriculture industry which helps serve the local farming community.
Ross received his Bachelors in Accounting from Iowa State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Iowa.
Professional Affiliations: American Institute of Public Accountants and Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Leo Brooker, CPA founded Brooker & Company in 1986. He has extensive knowledge in the agriculture industry and has been serving the local community for many years with a variety of services. Leo provides tax planning and tax preparation services for the firm, as well as providing knowledge and executive support to the other staff. Leo is a certified public accountant in the State of Iowa.
Theresa Davis started with Brooker, Martens & Associates in February of 2022. Theresa specializes in payroll and bookkeeping services and assists with tax preparation when needed.
Madeline Delzell started with Brooker, Martens & Associates in January of 2023. Madeline specializes in administrative duties and assists with bookkeeping services when needed.
